Hello, another gentleman and myself have started a country band and need a drummer to fill things out. This ain’t your daddy’s country, or your daddy’s dads country, this is YOUR country. We dig some newer non radio played country. The modern outlaw movement, if you will. We have some originals and would likely want to cover a couple songs. There will be some garage rock, and psych elements to this as well. Think new riders of the purple sage, the Grateful Dead’s “American Beauty” record, Sturgil Simpson. Singing is a plus, the ability to play in the pocket while using brushes is a plus. Having played some version of country music before would be great too. We definitely need some locomotive rhythms, swing beats, and classic country ballad beats. Respond to this ad to come an jam with us! Thanks.
