Company in Chicopee, MA is looking for a General Goods Picker to support the manager in daily activities in a small manufacturing company by maintaining and supporting the company goals. Performance of all job duties as defined in the work instruction and as directed by the Finished Goods Supervisor. Includes movement of work to and from the work-center, housekeeping of work area, Checks address, method of shipment, special instructions on pick list Matches part number on product picked to part number on pick list Matches quantity on product picked to quantity allocated on pick list Understands master pack and shelf pack columns on pick list Picks from correct inventory location & Chooses correct cartons for order & Picks orders accurately Fills carton with product and dunnage to eliminate air space Correctly and legibly marks box numbers on cartons and on pick list Correctly and legibly marks sales order number/purchase order number on cartons Trained in operation of dunnage equipment & Trained in operating and maintaining tape dispensers Maintains neat and orderly work area.
