Need to fill / cover a space between door and floor

I need to cover this space with some plastic piece or spar filling to stick to door and cover that tiny hole you can see at a pic. Its a small animal that squeezes in it and leaves the room which cant happen. Its cant be a cardboard, more like a plastic on double tape or firm piece of wood or anything that is hard to bite. Also the door has to open and close. If its possible to avoid any drilling it would help. Text only please.
