Stage Hands, In Wednesday 10/9 (6pm-11pm), Strike Sunday 11/13 (4pm-9pm) Hiring local, safe, reliable and EXPERIENCED event workers/stage hands to assist our small traveling team move and assemble a truckload of production equipment for an indoor dance competition. It’s basic stage hand labor (not technical). This job involves unloading/loading and moving heavy, wheeled cases and carts, helping assemble portable dance floor, pipe & drape and other production equipment. All tools are provided. You must have prior experience with event setup, breakdown and working with basic hand tools and materials handling. There is a lot of LIFTING & BENDING involved so you must be agile and physically fit. Work is indoors. Must meet ALL requirements: 1) Available for BOTH load in and load out. 2) Have your own transportation 3) Communicate in English. 4) Eligible for legal employment. 5) Be healthy, energetic & physically fit. Lots of bending & lifting! *Dress in stage blacks (no big logos or lettering). Long pants, sturdy shoes. 5hr minimum calls. Rate is negotiable, based on your skills and experience.
