The Baltimore County Revenue Authority is currently seeking a Full Time Supervisor for our Maintenance/Meter Department. The position is location in Towson, MD. The Baltimore County Revenue Authority was created by the General Assembly of the State of Maryland on June 1, 1955. As an instrumentality of Baltimore County and public corporation, the Authority was created for the purpose of constructing, improving, equipping, furnishing, maintaining, acquiring, and operating the following projects to be devoted wholly or partially for public uses. Position Summary: Oversees Maintenance and Parking Meter staff. Provides staff training and assignments. Performs a variety general maintenance and parking meter related tasks, including fill-in coverage for absent employees. Essential Functions / Responsibilities: •Supervise and direct maintenance and meter staff •Create work assignment schedules •Provide support and training when necessary •Ensure all systems are functioning properly including mechanical, electrical, and plumbing throughout the garages and facilities •Ensure all facilities meet the BCRA standards regarding cleanliness and safety •Maintain vehicles assigned to staff to ensure periodic maintenance is completed •Schedule routine preventative maintenance with vendors •Work with contractors on various projects •Communicate complaints/concerns regarding garages and facilities to the Parking Director •Schedule fire and elevator inspections •Purchase supplies and equipment •Maintain exceptional level of customer service Minimum Job Requirements: Education: High School Diploma or equivalent. Coursework or certification in electrical, plumbing, mechanical and/or automotive preferred. Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in the field or in a related area to include facility maintenance, supervision, building systems, electrical repair, plumbing and carpentry. Specialized Knowledge / Licenses / Etc.: Trade / technical and mechanical knowledge of parking meters and other monitored parking equipment is a plus. Must possess a valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
