2008 SOBEWFF® Tribute Dinner honoree Jean-Georges Vongerichten will once again preside over the kitchen at Matador Room, his neutral-hued hideaway buzzing with 1940s supper-club style inside the sleek Miami Beach EDITION Hotel. For this year’s iteration of a SOBEWFF® staple, the Michelin-starred chef and restaurateur is giving his inventive dishes – inspired by the flavors of Spain, South America, and the Caribbean – an entirely new dimension. And like everything Vongerichten does, each dish will be reimagined with revivifying detail. Working with only the most select seasonal ingredients, this accomplished chef will be pulling out all the stops to create a luxurious menu for this ultra-chic brunch that’s anything but basic.
