KANE COUNTY, IL — More than 1,500 health care workers in Kane County started the new year by receiving a vaccine against the coronavirus. The Kane County Health Department said Wednesday it expected to administer about 10 percent of its 15,740 vaccine doses this week to health care workers with the highest risk of contracting the virus.
