Rockville Chess ClubDate & Time: Mondays, 6:30 PM to 9:00 PM Location: 36C Maryland Avenue, Rockville MD 20850 Parking: Parking at Garage "A" with entrances on 355 and Maryland Ave. First two hours are free. NOTE: Children under 14 must be accompanied by a parent. We encourage the parent to play chess. Tickets are not necessary but do help us with planning. We are chess enthusiasts that gather regularly to learn and play. We welcome players of all levels ranging from beginners to masters and all age ranges. Our mission is to create a welcoming environment for all chess players and promote growth and collaboration. We host occasional USCF rated tournaments. You can find us at the Rockville Science Center, located in Rockville, Maryland, every Monday from 6.30pm to 9:30pm. Afterwards, some of us often make our way to the Buffalo Wild Wings across the street to continue playing and socializing until midnight. We hope to uplift the playing strength of everyone who comes by. We help all our players play in USCF-rated events which we hope to organize regularly on a cost-recovery basis.
