Hiring Event. $100 -$150/Day - Work on Election Day, Nov. 8th. Chicago: Work a half-day shift or full-day shift. You will be stationed out in front of a busy Chicago Polling location on Election Day, November 8th to circulate candidate petitions for a half-day in the morning, or a half-day afternoon shift. Or an ALL DAY shift from 6 AM to 7 PM. Must: 1. Follow instructions. 2. Be able to work a HALF day, or FULL day, outside a Chicago Polling. 3. Be dependable (do what you say). 4. Punctual; arrive 10-15 minutes early to your assigned Chicago Polling place. 5. Be tolerant of everyone and everything. 6. Smile and be friendly (even if the voters are not). 7. Be unafraid to ask voters for their signatures to place candidates on the Feb. 28th Chicago Municipal Ballot. 8. Handel rejection well. 9. Be a mild-tempered, easy-going person; without anger management issues. 10. Have fun working and making money (you will be paid at days-end...or 1 - 3 days after signatures are checked). 11.
