The Athens Chamber of Commerce will host the November Athens Chamber Luncheon at the one and only Cain Center on Wednesday, November 9th at 12:00 PM. Lunch will consist of your choice of shrimp scampi over butter herb rice, chicken alfredo, or seafood pasta served with a garden salad and roll.
The topic for this month's luncheon will be the Henderson County Education & Business Task Force. We want to say a special THANK YOU to UT Health Athens for initiating the conversation by bringing together several entities back in August formulating a plan of action. From that meeting the initiative blossomed into the Henderson County Education & Business Task Force. The purpose of this task force is to bring education, business, and the local healthcare system into discussions to create collaborative networks to increase education and jobs in various industries, while improving education, economics, and healthcare in the county. Henderson County Judge Wade McKinney, Athens Economic Development Director Joanie Ahlers and Athens Chamber of Commerce Kristin Willingham will present information as well as be available to field your questions during this presentation.
Thank you so much to Reigning Jewels Fine Jewelry for providing a spectacular door prize! You won't want to miss the chance to WIN!!!
