We are moving from our house in the country to a neighborhood with an HOA, my chickens are going to have to find a new roost to call their home. I currently have 16 hens, 1 rooster. They're all around 9 months old with the exception of 2, which are 2 years old. All or most of all have started laying, we usually get about a dozen or so eggs a day. No particular breed, just mix match that I picked up from friends and Tractor Supply. My roo is calm and not aggressive but has been a good guardian over his flock.
