Join us for an engaging presentation about our veteran and first responder populations and their needs in the work environment. Objectives: Understanding of military cultural competency as it applies to the civilian workplace. Recognizing early warning signs a veteran may be in crisis. Understanding veteran needs in the work environment.Our Speaker: Tiffany Reves began in the mental health field in 2006. During that time, she has worked in various settings including non-profit services, a mental health hospital, private practice and group practice. She is trained in EMDR and has specialty training in evidenced based practices for Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder. She specializes in working with veterans, first responders, and individuals who have experienced trauma. Tiffany served as the military liaison on a team of professionals starting one of the first private inpatient programs for military and veterans. In addition, she served 6 years as the Clinical Consultant to the Denton County Veteran Treatment Court. Tiffany has spoken at multiple conferences including the American Counseling Association and Texas Association of Counseling Educators and Supervisors Conferences, and she is an adjunct professor at the University of North Texas. When she is not working, Tiffany spends her free time unwinding with friends and family, traveling, and spending time with her kids and her dog.
