Mushroom Log Workshop with Jesse and Sweet Dee of Resting Point Farms

During our hands-on “log plugging” workshop, we’ll help you drill, plug, wax, and label your fresh logs. Time slots are structured in 30 minute increments, 5 people per group. Please confirm a 30 minute time block on the map, taking note of which time window you have chosen to attend. To this this correctly, select the "Buy on Map" button, which will allow you to choose your time slot (12-12:30 pm or 12:30-1:30 pm... etc.) We’ll provide the work station, inoculator tools, drill bit, and 1 log per group, with the option of plugging a second log to take home ($15 per log). We encourage you, but don't require you, to bring your own drill. This will speed up the process and allow you to grow accustomed to implementing your own tool. Bring a mask if you're sensitive to sawdust. Gourmet and medicinal mushroom varieties will be based on availability, but may include Chicken of the Woods, Blue Oyster, Shiitake, or Lion’s Mane. Workshop blocks are short and sweet, so have your mushroom questions ready! See you there!
