Lime, gooseberry and smoky herbals also apparent. Fleshy and fruit-sweet entry heavy with passionfruit and a little blackcurrant. Underling this we have complex herbal and citrus notes. Mineral and spice on the finish. Marlborough Trimbach Riesling, 2019 The Trimbach’s have a purist vision. For three centuries and across 13 generations, the family has produced wines that are structured, long-lived, fruity, elegant and balanced: the celebrated Trimbach style. This is the very definition of the Alsace Riesling, well anchored in the dry and balanced Trimbach style. It shines with its elegant liveliness, crunchiness and notes of white flowers and citrus fruits leading to a minerally finish. Gaia Cabernet Franc, 2019 GAIA, the Greek goddess of the earth, has been the Bousquet family’s inspiration since founding our winery 1997 when we pioneered and cleared virgin land in the high reaches of Tupungato’s Gualtallary district. Gaia wines are crafted with a French winemaking sensibility and made from 100% organic fruit. 100% Cabernet Franc Aged in French oak between 8 and 10 months. Intense violet color. Black and red fruits with pepper and mineral notes. Full body with fruity, mid-palate expression and persistent finish. Chateau de Lescours St. Emilion Grand Cru, 2016 Built in 1341, the Château de Lescours has, over the ages, served as an asylum and a place of rest for kings and lords of the region. The Chariol family has lived in the premises for 5 generations and strives to transmit technical know-how but also passion for nature and generosity. Blend of 80% Merlot, 10% Cabernet Sauvignon, 10% Cabernet Franc. Dark plummy fruit, balsamic accents and a trace of barnyard. This Right Bank wine has a soft, polished feel in the mouth and is medium- to full-bodied with toasty and dusty notes in the finish. Well-integrated acidity and soft tannins become apparent at the end. Outerbound Alexander Valley Cabernet Sauvignon, 2019 100% Cabernet Sauvignon from Alexander Valley AVA, in Sonoma County, California. Aromas of black raspberry, blueberry jam, roast bell pepper, tomato leaf, toffee, bread crust and gravel dust. Red plum, blackberry, black cherry kirsch, and cassis flavors with fine, dusty and black fruit tannins. A long finish expresses vanilla, root spice, black pepper, coffee, and mint oil. Excellent quality. Union Sacré Pinot Blanc, 2021 Pinot Blanc is dry with notes of cantaloupe, pear, peach, raw almond, lemon zest and white pepper. An ode to Alsatian-style wine. Such a crowd pleaser and a perfect pairing with fruit salad or grilled veggies. Santa Maria Valley Union Sacre Orange Skin Contact Riesling, 2021 Fresh on the nose, with loads of ripe, sweet citrus and notes of fresh herbs and wet stone. Juicy, grippy, and tangy on the palate, with a lingering finish of apricot and dried peach. Domaine Maurice Charleux Maranges Rouge Vieilles Vignes, 2019 Forming a transition between the Côte d’Or and the Saône-et-Loire of the Côte Chalonnaise, Maranges is the southernmost village of the Côte de Beaune district of Burgundy and includes seven Premiers Crus. From 2.20 hectares of truly old vines planted in 1933 and 1937, which gives this cuvée admirable concentration and length. Aging takes place in 3rd and 4th use oak casks. Its color is a deep ruby-red and it has powerful aromas of red berries. As one would expect from a wine from such old vines, it has impressive power and concentration, and fine tannins. A Tribute to Grace Grenache, Central Coast, 2020 A Tribute to Grace Wine Company is dedicated to crafting authentic expressions of Grenache. All wines are single-vineyard sourced to maintain authenticity, and remain 100% Grenache. Notes of strawberry, red rose, wild cherry, orange spice, garrigue and olives. Practicing organic and biodynamic farming practices and only 790 cases produced. Gueissard Bandol Rouge, 2017 Bandol Rouge is among the world’s most iconic wines, made famous by legends like Tempier, Pradeaux, and Pibarnon. A blend of Mourvèdre (70%), Grenache (17%) and Cinsault (13%), which grew on clay-limestone soil in plots on the hillside, cultivated in remand. Dress of beautiful purple color. Expressive fruit includes cassis, cherry, blackcurrant and vanilla. Juicy with plenty of fruit and well-integrated tannins, this wine is serious but highly drinkable and also very long. Hild Elbling Trocken, 2020 The seldom seen Elbling grape thrives on patches of limestone soil in Germany’s Mosel Valley. Light in body, this wine is full of minerality and refreshing acidity. The floral aromas found here are lighter than those found in Riesling. Overall, this is a delicious thirst-quenching rarity. Margins Wine Chenin Blanc Skin Fermented Clarksburg, 2021 30 days of skin contact on organically farmed Chenin Blanc from Clarksburg, CA. Grapes are hand harvested, all ambient yeasts for the fermentation, no filtering or fining, and all neutral oak vessels. A small amount of sulfur is added for stability. Subtle scents of candied lemon and soft yellow apple, with a saline edge. A delicately tangy palate, with stony minerality and delicate texture. Château Coupe Roses Minervois La Bastide, 2020 Half Carignan and half Grenache with 5% Syrah, La Bastide Minervois is fermented in stainless steel with four weeks of skin contact. The wine is bottled with no oak. Vibrant red with notes of red cherries and a touch of bitter plum. The palate is dry with bright, fresh acidity, soft tannins, and a round texture. This is complex with notes of minerals, graphite, herbs, and leather. Pinot Pop Chardonnay Pinot Noir Brut Sparkling Wine, 2021 Blend of 67% Chardonnay and 33% Pinot Noir, blended right before bottling. Tight, sophisticated bubbles that deliver burst of sunshine, twinkles and freshness. White rose petals and crisp apple-cherry pie with a little frosting on top. Beurer Trollinger Trocken, 2021 Among winemakers in Germany, Beurer is revered and his reds are nearly always considered among the greats. Few winemakers are able to achieve such purity, from the simpler Trollinger (aka Schiava). A lighter-bodied, unoaked red wine that's anything but simple and is full of character. Wine made from grapes grown organically. Umathum Rosa, 2021 At the Wine Estate Umathum, the vineyard operates under clear structures and principles of organic agriculture, after the philosophy of Rudolf Steiner. Cellaring is undertaken with great care, and the wines are matured mainly in wooden barrels. Shiny and bright raspberry red, on the nose flavors of raspberries and cherries, which are reflected on the palate, pleasant, fine and full-bodied taste, round and mild with long aftertaste. Austria Paul Jaboulet Aîné Viognier, 2020 In the glass, the Viognier, penned by Paul Jaboulet Aîné, reveals a brilliantly shimmering golden yellow color. In the glass, this white wine by Paul Jaboulet Aîné presents aromas of mirabelle, apricots, linden, orange blossom and honeysuckle, supplemented by other fruity nuances. On the palate, the Viognier by Paul Jaboulet Aîné opens pleasantly aromatic, fruity and balanced. This dense white wine is light-footed and multi-layered on the palate. Paul Jaboulet Aîné Côtes du Rhône Paralléle 45 Rouge, 2019 An elegant wine with beautiful structure. Northern style Cotes du Rhone, with beautiful fresh Syrah character. Notes of wild berries, white pepper, lavender, and cherries. This balanced red finishes with incredibly juicy Grenache love. It takes its name from the 45th parallel in north latitude which passes less than 2 km south of the cellars of the house Jaboulet. La Palazzetta Rosso di Montalcino, 2020 100% Sangiovese. Clear, quite polished aroma of black and red berries with dried herbal aromas, floral nuances and a hint of juniper.
