Golf Cart Mechanic Position: Golf Cart Service Technician Job Summary: The position of Service Technician, will offer financial opportunities based on your experience and proficiency related to but not limited to golf cart repairs & services, you are always involved in maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing golf carts and utility vehicles in different environments and under varying conditions within our state-of-the-art shop. These mechanical and electrical repairs will be conducted on vehicles that are commercially or privately owned, under service contract, warranty and individual requested services & repairs. You are responsible for coordinating all activities with the dealership management as assigned. Requirements: This role you will have an assigned location (Naples) but periodically you may be asked to support our other location. Mechanical knowledge and experience repairing electric & gasoline powered vehicles. Valid driver’s license clear of any violations. Excellent communication and Interpersonal skills with customers and coworkers. Periodical Direct Customer facing experience. Willingness and ability to work closely with others. Ability to work independently with little or no supervision. Adaptable to work, environment and process changes. Must follow and adhere to all Matt’s Custom Golf Carts Policies and Procedures. Job Duties: Work with dealership management and others as required to schedule and coordinate all work activities. Handle all paperwork or electronic documents related to the job including but not limited to work orders, parts orders and quotes for repair & services. Perform routine maintenance & repair as needed on all golf carts vehicles. Read electrical wiring diagrams and troubleshooting flowcharts. Always maintain company and personally owned tools in good operating condition. Perform all duties as assigned by management. Qualifications: High School Diploma or Equivalent Ability to follow verbal and written instructions. Must be able to record and report data using applicable computer software. Expected to provide your own standard tools. Ability to lift to 75 pounds or more waist high with frequent lifting, twisting, bending, squatting and turning. Previous golf cart repair service experience preferred.
