For more information about ScreenDance Miami please visit our website, miamilightproject.com SON (2020) Gabri Christa A mother tries to find a moment to herself, but constantly worries about her black son's safety and keeps hearing his call/voice. HER MAGNUM OPUS (2017) Marta Renzi A group of friends gather to celebrate their mentor and learn that what lasts is those you leave behind. A tantalizing mix of magic realism and improvised naturalism, the film unfolds in a bucolic setting-- a beach, a forest, a country house which is a source of inspiration and solace. PULSE:/IMPULSOS(2020) Niurca Marquez pulse:/impulsos is an exploration of the "remate" (close) and "llamada" (call) in traditional flamenco pulled outside its usual context and used as the motor for this improvisation-based work of four women artists. It captures an instant of a woman in a state of rediscovering/redefining herself. SWIFT (2008) Ros Warby Humorous, elegant and startlingly original, Swift is a kaleidoscope of fanciful characterisations, choreography and music. The solo dancer transforms from gremlin to gentle diva, exposing complex physical, psychological and emotional states experienced by the female protagonist. Program Length: 1 hr 25 min
