Full Job Description We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Turn Technician to join our team of professionals. As a Make Ready Technician, you will be expected to maintain a charming appearance of the apartment units to prepare a welcoming home for our residents to move into. By maintaining all equipment and rental units, the Make Ready Technician will apply current and gained knowledge to display a luxurious and inviting community through the repair and installation of newly leased units. On any given day you will: ● Get apartment homes ready for new move-in. ● Service work orders, maintain shop clean and organized ● Ensure all equipment is in working condition. ● Understand layout of the property and awareness of equipment locations. ● Make Ready needs to be communicated with the Property Manager ● Servicing requests that result in working both in and outdoors, maintain clean grounds ● Be available for On-Call Emergencies. What You’ll Need to Succeed: ● 1-2 years of experience as a Make-Ready/Turn Technician. ● Completes work orders to ensure units are maintained to standards ● Knowledge of equipment functions, appliances and ladders. ● Thorough knowledge of painting, dry wall, and plumbing. Some electrical. Some cleaning ● HVAC experience a plus, CPO a plus ● Possession of personal tools, preferred ● Possession of personal transportation, valid ID ● Able to work weekends, as needed/On call ● Able to stand, walk and sit for long periods of time. ● Physical: Ability to lift, push and pull and carry up to 80 pounds. Physical elements of the job may require frequent standing and walking, squatting, reaching, stooping, climbing stairs/ladders, balancing and carrying.
