First, you need to come to our office for a 30-minute appointment to be screened. At this appointment, our trained nursing staff will assess your veins and take a small amount of blood for a test. If you pass, we will reach out to you and ask you to come in for a 4-hour donation when dates become available. The donation consists of using a machine to take a small amount of blood. That machine separates the white blood cells from the red, and we give the rest back to you all in one collection. Your donation will be used to help create new treatments, cures, and vaccines, and we have plenty of opportunities for donors to come in and participate!
