Supp craigslist killas! 😎 Our band is currently looking for a dedicated Bassist in the Atlanta area! We are a little specific though as far as the music goes. The genre that we play has many names: Dream-pop, Indie-pych, Shoegaze, Bedroom pop, Jazz, Surf rock, Indie-pop, Psychedelic Rock, etc. We are all are dedicated to playing this category of music and we will be playing this genre! Bands we're into: Holy Wave, Mild High Club, Tame Impala, CASTLEBEAT, Beach Fossils, King Gizz, Cuco, Dayglow, The Beach Boys, Sunbeam Sound Machine, DIIV, Vacations, Still Woozy, Homeshake, Cathedral Bells, DEHD, Mac DeMarco, Mr. Elevator, Beach House, Neon Indian, The Strokes, Hibou, Ringo Deatharr, Slowdive, Pond, Foster the People, STRFCKR, Japanese Breakfast, Triptides, Washed Out, Acid Dad, Allah-las, MGMT, Wild Nothing, Deserta, Slowdive, etc. We have a solid amount of demos which are all fully structured out songs(drums/bass/guitar/synths/vocals) from start to finish which we believe are going to help us get the ball rolling quick. We've all established it'll be most resourceful and straight-forward to simply begin work on our music that is already arranged and composed, rather than try to come up with music on the fly at rehearsal at the beginning. 7 of them are all instrumental(drums/bass/guitar/vocals) the other 7 have electronic elements. We will be playing some of the demos we made. We have the bass guitar tabs written for all our songs along with tutorial videos of me playing bass to each of our songs so you can get a solid start on learning the songs in our set. Most of the demos on bass guitar are very fun to play and have very moving basslines, thus they can be a little bit challenging on bass guitar so we are looking for some one that has intermediate-expert experience on bass guitar, but don't necessarily let that impede you. I've seen beginner musicians that have blown me away with they way they play music! I'm not the most experienced at producing- beginner level. Hoping to get my degree from youtube university soon, 😁 but can put together solid demos/rough drafts, so they're not the best quality. *band name pending We all live in apartments so we are looking for a rehearsal space which could include going to an actual practice studio which I have done in the past. Reed has an E-kit he practices at his apartment and a drumset as well. Looking for people in the Atlanta/North ITP area. I live in Little 5 Points. All of us are in our 20s/early 30s and we are looking to play with members in our age range. We are looking to rehearse on Sunday nights and pick another weekday night to rehearse so 2 practices a week. Also you must be close(within 30min) of us. However, not only are we looking for members, we're looking for solid friends to add to our group! Every band I've ever been in we've always been really close, had solid connections and still hang out with a lot of previous members. We go out to bars, shows, festivals, etc. We all have energetic, funny, hardworking personalities and are fun guys to be around with talent and ambition for writing music. We all have very like-minded ideas, a deep passion for indie/dreampop music and want to start playing shows as soon as possible. We are looking for members that also shares those same passions.
