Metals Warehouse has immediate openings for full-time, long-term employment. We stock various metals in bars and plates and then cut these to length depending on our customers’ requirements. Our customers are typically in manufacturing and tool & die. We are a family owned company and have been in business for over 60 years. Position Type: Full Time, long-term Compensation: Start at $18/hour with opportunity for rapid pay increases Benefits: Medical Insurance Skills Required: • Ability to read a tape measure • On time and reliable, most importantly • Valid driver’s license • Legal to work in the US • Be able to lift at least 100lbs • Basic math skills – fractions, decimals, addition • Fast learner • Able to work in a fast paced setting • Able to work well in a team environment • Forklift certification a plus but not required Some Duties include, but not limited to: • Cutting customer orders includes pulling the correct size and grade from the inventory racks, loading into saw, cutting the bar to customer’s sizes and returning the bar into inventory • Verifying accuracy of materials is very important • Packaging orders for UPS or freight shipment • Helping load completed orders into our delivery trucks • Load/unload trucks • Quality inspection and stocking of new inventory • Routine maintenance and cleaning of the equipment and warehouse • Possibly driving a delivery truck at some point in the future Other Details: • Hours are Monday thru Friday, 7am-3:30 pm with 30 min lunch break • Occasionally we offer overtime at time and a half rate • Medical Insurance after 90 days To Apply: Email your resume with work history
