Still undecided about who to vote for?

Still undecided about Tuesday's elections? May I recommend... Consider the following: - Political parties don't control gas prices, the oil industry does, along with the OPEC pricing cartel - More than 50% of the price increases you have been experiencing are attributable directly to corporate profits - The Oil Industry has more than 9000 active permits available to drill on US land. If they wanted to increase supply, lowering prices, they could. - Republicans have no policy proposals that will lower your gas bills or grocery bills and even if they did the oil industry would simply replace whatever small price reductions they could offer by raising the price further, just as they did when Biden increased market supply using the strategic oil reserve to drop prices $1.50 a gallon. OPEC came back and cut production by an equal amount. - The last 3 republican adminstrations tanked the economy. (Bush, GW Bush, and Trump) Their policies fail over and over but their rhetoric sounds right to low information voters. What Republicans HAVE promised to do is try to pass a national abortion ban, eliminate social security and medicare, shut down the government to try to force those issues (which costs YOU more money), and they have promised to continue to push the big election lie, to rig red states so that republicans cannot lose (i.e. a one party state - not a democracy.) Last time Republicans were in power they tried to repeal health care availability for millions of Americans. They still want to do that too, even though have still don't have an alternative plan to provide the care. They have become the party that sees violence as an acceptable means to their political goals. They promote it daily, stoke it, and laugh about it when it occurs. If you want 2 years of gridlock, dog and pony show investigations that never lead to anything (like the 8 Benghazi investigations which McCarthy accidentally stated were purely aimed at political objectives), and lack of action solving any real problems, vote Republican. Democrats on the other hand, did this for you in less than 2 years, (most of this in the first 18 months): - successfully implemented a distribution plan for COVID vaccine (anyone who wanted vaccines can get them easily) - passed a large infrastructure bill everyone else "talked about" previously - already fixing roads, bridges and more nationwide - record jobs growth (6.5M in 2021 alone...highest under any president in history) - largest increase in US Manufacturing jobs in 30 years - sustained record low unemployment - Bringing semiconductor fabs (high tech jobs) into the midwest and back to the US - Cut the budget deficit in half in 2022, the largest deficit reduction in history. - passed historic climate change bill - passed most significant gun control bill in 30 years, containing controls 70-90% of the public support - Increased veteran's benefits for burn pit exposure and other toxic exposure - Medicare will be able to negotiate some drug prices, saving seniors money - Capped Seniors out of pocket prescription costs at $2k - Capped Seniors insulin costs at $35/month - Killed Al Queada leader Al Zawahiri - brought NATO allies closer together, assisting Ukraine in countering Russian invasion - cut student debt - Established a minimum corporate tax on companies with >$1B in revenue (forcing them to pay a fair share of tax) - confirmed a supreme court justice You can like or dislike the accomplisments, but Biden did what he campaigned on, what he was elected to do, and MOST Americans like that list even if they don't like inflation. Inflation is a global problem. It isn't due to democratic policies - it exists in conservative and liberal run countries and the US is doing better than most developed nations on that front. A little over half of it is due to corporate profiteering, which is happening globally, not nationally. That should make the decision easier (if you aren't in a cult.)
