Description

This is going to be long: Rehoming our 1 year old Male, Neutered Brussels Griffon. $500 rehoming fee, which less than a rescue would charge and is 1/4, or less than what it would cost from a breeder. He was purchased for my ex, so he isn't even my dog and I've tried to make it work for the past 6 months. This breed is stubborn, and needs a lot of attention, and I just don't have the time for him as I'm about to start a new job where I can't work from home anymore, so that's going to get even worse. The good: very cute, super loving, playful, good with cats and other dogs, super smart, uses a button to ask to go outside, healthy. I do have his AKC papers to prove his breed, and he is microchipped. The bad: gets on tables to steal food, not totally housebroken (yes he uses a button to go out, but he will sometimes come right back in to poop, totally don't understand it), doesn't like small children or babies (no kids under 10 please). He is also slightly oversized for his breed at close to 14lbs. Will come with his crate, some toys, several months of revolution heartworm and flea medicine. He will need vaccines again in December. I am not in a rush to re-home him, and would prefer that he go to someone with breed experience if at all possible. He's a great dog for someone, just isn't a good fit for us and that's not fair to him.
