Hey everyone! I'm a female photographer hobbyist who's interested in starting a social media project geared towards showing the way stereotypically negative female traits make women undesirable in society, or more specifically, to the male community. The execution would go as follows: I travel to you and photograph you in a public space holding a sign saying "Undesirable because...". Your photo will be accompanied with your own story of a time in your life when you were left feeling unwanted, misunderstood, dirty, neglected, etc. simply for displaying normal behaviors and emotions, or ambitions, or having womanly experiences such as menopause or menstruation. The list could go on. I would love to hear stories from all women of all backgrounds and adult ages, but would especially be interested in stories from women who find dating becoming increasingly difficult due to these negative perceptions of/about women. If you'd like to be part of this project feel free to respond in email with: • location (city) • age (18+ please) • (option) your story, preferably in less than 400 words (for social media purposes) but you're welcome to make it longer.
