I have been reluctant to post this as it pains me to do this but I think it will be the best in the long run.
I adopted Garfield earlier this year in February from California because his owner could no longer care for him. He has been rehomed twice so I am looking for his final furever home. It took him a couple months to adjust and now he’s attached so it’s unfair for him to keep changing homes. He’s very playful as I have 2 other cats that he will play with. It did take awhile for him to acclimate to them. He is not cuddly but likes to be nearby as he grows closer to you and develop trust. He’s a very sweet cat with a grumpy old man’s personality which is what makes him unique. He is 5 years old and is healthy (comes with health insurance that is $35/month). He is neutered, updated on vaccines, and microchipped.
He needs a home that will have time to spend with him and keep him furever. In his previous home of 4 years, he was treated more like a stuffed animal than a cat. His personality has really came out these several months that I’ve had him.
Lastly, I am rehoming him because I just completed grad school and have too many uncertainties in my life. It’s been difficult finding a place that allows cats, let alone 3. Also, I may have to move back to California which would be hard with 3 cats. However, I am not rehoming him unless it’s to the right home. If you feel like your home would be the right fit for him, please reach out (serious inquiries only). His rehoming fee will be $400 which will help cover some of his costs and to ensure good home.
