Come join us for a beautiful Despacho Ceremony and experience for yourself the miracle of this gratitude bundle. Everyone in attendance contributes to the making of the despacho, which is a prayer offering to Pachamama (Mother Earth) and the Apus (Spirits of the Mountains), the Nature Spirits, the Four Directions and the Five Elements. The end result is a beautiful mandala filled with natural and man-made items, such as seeds, grains, flowers, candies, dried fruits and many symbolic elements representing aspects of the Universe. Please feel free to bring photos of those people, places or things for which you are grateful, and other small burnable items that you would like placed in the despacho for the gratitude felt and abundance you request. These items are not returnable, so please be sure they are something with which you are willing to part. When the despacho is completed, each participant is cleansed and healed with it. It is then offered either to the fire, to Mother Earth or to Mama Water to ensure that the prayers are released to Spirit. Please bring a flower, such as a rose or carnation, for the creation of the despacho. Liana will provide all the other ingredients necessary. Bring your rattles, drums and your prayers and blessings in celebration of Mother Earth and in gratitude for all we have and will receive. Space is limited.
