Welcome to the finale of LSU's Climate Week! This November, Cheyenne Autin, Geaux Green, and LSU Climate Pelicans are teaming up to kick off LSU’s first-ever climate rally. This is a chance to exercise your democratic rights and become a founding member in a collective show of political activism - a full-throated and earnest cry for a planet in ecological and sociological crisis. It is our generation which carries arguably the greatest burden in history - leading the charge to course-correct and curb global fossil fuel emissions at an unprecedented scale. To that end, we are requesting that the LSU Foundation divest its endowment from the fossil fuel industry and reinvest in a greener future for the state. In Louisiana, our opportunity is greater than perhaps in any other state to make political waves. If you have been stricken with climate anxiety and are unsure how to act, now is your chance!
