Description

For just under one hour, children participate in short lessons in reading, math and handwriting, providing a gentle introduction to the DaVinci Program. Masks recommended. Children participate in activities and lessons while one parent is present in the classroom to observe the child's engagement and interaction with the teacher and activities. Kindergarten is a step up from preschool and pre-K, requiring a bit more focus with distinct time periods for academic progress. Participation, following directions and a child's interest and willingness are important aspects of readiness. Doors open at 10:15 a.m. and close at 10:30 a.m. when the lesson begins. Afterward, teachers and admissions staff are on hand to answer questions and to schedule personal tours for parents during school hours. Please order your ticket under the name of the parent who will attend with the child. Once you sign up, we'll contact you to confirm your RSVP and that the child attending is age 4 or 5. We will also call to get your child's name in advance for a more personalized experience. We're looking forward to meeting you and your child!
