HEXICON formed in 2018 in Pasadena / Los Angeles, California. Vocalist Young Heller joined the instrumental duo of brothers Andrew and Austin Cox of the band Andraus. Their songs veer dynamically from heavy doom to intense thrash with understated interludes and shifting rhythms. Andrew Cox (drums) directs music videos and worked for Hydra Head Records for eight years. Young Heller (vocals) is an animation director who has worked on Metalocalypse, The Legend of Vox Machina, and projects for Marvel and DC. Austin Cox (guitar) has played Andraus shows with Helms Alee, Big Business, and Old Man Gloom. DEREK GAINES & ALEX KENTDerek Gaines (Rusk, Jerkagram) and Alex Kent (Sprain) will play an improv set as a guitar duo. BADLOTTOLayers of symphonic guitar tones, field-recorded percussions and droned-out vocals combine for a one-man band cinematic experience.
