Llamas wearing pajamas. Laugh-out-loud improv comedy. Mouth-watering vegan food. On Nov. 17 from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m., join Uptown Atlanta for all of this and more as we host the second annual Laughs, Llamas and Pajamas on The Lawn.
Starting at 5:30 p.m., arrive at The Lawn to mingle with a group of friendly, pajama-wearing llamas from Wits End Llama Consortium. Attendees are encouraged to dress their best and don pajamas to meet and greet with the llamas. Before the comedy show begins, the community can grab tasty plant-based comfort food from the Slutty Vegan food truck. At 7 p.m., get ready to roar with laughter as Whole World Improv takes the stage for a hilarious, family friendly comedy show.
All are encouraged to support the women and children of local nonprofit Atlanta Mission by donating pairs of new pajamas at the check-in table. Atlanta Mission is a homeless shelter serving more than 1000 men, women and children across Atlanta and Northeast Georgia. At last year’s inaugural event, more than 125 pairs of pajamas were donated to Atlanta Mission's My Sisters House, outfitting all of the nonprofits' children with new snuggly PJs for the holidays. (Adult women and all children sized PJ's are appreciated - Thank you!)
The event is free to attend and registration is requested. Parking is also free with validation in the Garson and City Center Parking Decks or take MARTA to the Lindbergh Station and The Lawn is just across the street. We hope to see you there!
