I am starting my Fall Beginner's T'ai Chi Ch'uan Classes at the Majestic Ballroom. They are scheduled to begin Wednesday, Nov. 16th, from 6:00-7:00 p.m. and they will meet each Wednesday for about 3 months to learn the entire Yang Form. My name is Gene Golden and I own the Golden School of T'ai Chi Ch'uan, here in Bellingham. I teach the Yang Style of T'ai Chi Ch'uan and am of the Cheng Man-Ch'ing lineage and I have been teaching this art for over 40 years, as well as running the T'ai Chi Ch'uan Program at Western Washington University. T'ai Chi Ch'uan is a meditation in movement that is excellent for health, well being, stress reduction and for increasing longevity. It is also an extremely effective martial art that is not aggressive and uses an attacker's force against them.
