Young and young-at-heart are invited to test your creative design skills in ChristmasVille’s annual Gingerbread House Contest! A cash prize will be awarded in each of the following categories: Children (5-12 years) | $50Teen (13-19 years) | $75Adult Amateur (20+ years) | $100Adult Professional (20+ years) | $100A People's Choice Winner will receive a $50 cash prize and a limited-edition trophy courtesy of Design & Motion. Gingerbread houses will be on display throughout ChristmasVille, and winners will be announced on Sunday, December 4th, at the Festival's Closing Ceremony beginning at 5pm. Guidelines/Requirements: Display base of project must be 24”x24” ; height of project should be no taller than 24” .All components are to be edible and non-perishable.Participants are asked to describe their gingerbread house and specify birthday. Entries are to be delivered to the Center for the Arts at 121 East Main St., Rock Hill on November 28th between 10am - 7pm. Participants are responsible for picking up their project on Tuesday, December 6th between 10am and 6pm or they will be discarded.
