Topics include increasing self-awareness through relaxation techniques, breathing exercises and flexibility movements! The class is led by Mengjun Wang (aka Kate). She is a master's candidate in Sports Medicine at the University of Pittsburgh and has a master's in athletic training from Hebei Normal University in China. She started professional Chinese Martial Arts (wushu) training as a teen and obtained her bachelor's degree of Education in traditional folk sports, with specialization in taijiquan (tai chi). As a gold medalist from regional, national and international championships, Kate instructed, coached, and judged tai chi and wushu for many years in various settings in the US and China.
