Twin Cities Maker, a 501(c)3 Community Work Shop is hosting a 2X4 Challenge. Everyone is welcome to participate, or even just come in to see all the cool things people make.
The Rules are simple, you may only use one, 8’ Long 2X4 to create anything you would like! You are free to use fasteners & glue, but no other wood then your 1 piece of 2X4 is to be used.
Woodcraft of Bloomington has donated some great Prizes for the Event, and we'll also be awarding a prize of a FREE MONTH of membership to Twin Cities Maker!
Wed November 16th @ 6:30 you can start bringing in your creation to Twin Cities Maker.
At 7pm judging will begin on the following categories:
1. People’s Choice of Best Work
2. Judges Choice – Best Work
3. Judgest Choice – Second Best
4. Best Creation without Screws or Fasteners
5. Best use of the entire 2X4
This is a free event to participate in, however we do ask that you make a donation of between $25-$50 if you are participating. All proceeds will go directly to Twin Cities Maker Wood Shop to purchase new tooling for the community.
