Title: On-Call, In-Person Event Support - MUST BE LOCATED in Bend, Oregon to attend in-person events. Division: Central Oregon Events Classification: On-Call, Hourly, Part-time nonexempt Salary Range: $20.00 to $25.00 depending upon experience and range of skills The On-Call Event Support team members are critical in assisting with both internal and external workability LLC events. Event Support team members assist in the operation of various sizes and types of events at the workability LLC. Job duties include, but are not limited to: - Setting up and/or breaking down an exhibit table, registration table, or booth at a trade show or conference; - Staffing event registration table to check for attendee payments, hand out name tags or badges, receive payment and process registrations - Staffing the exhibit table or booth to distribute information about www.workability.one and answer questions about our services in a positive and professional manner - Monitor online event registrations and create attendee lists and name tags in advance of the event - Compiling various, separate powerpoint presentations into one seamless PPT slideshow for presentation at a conference or event - Serving as an A/V technician and facilitating conference platform technology such as Zoom, Teams, or Google Meet during in-person and virtual presentations - Writing articles, presentations, or press releases when needed - Using a graphic design platform such as Adobe Fresco, Canva or others to create posters, flyers, postcards and brochures - Setting up and/or tearing down tables, chairs, linens, A/V equipment Successful applicants will be: -Professional and diplomatic in manner and presentation -Good problem-solvers who will take initiative to figure something out on their own -Strong writing, computer, and A/V skills -Have a clean, neat and tidy appearance -Able to work independently, and must be on time. -Have reliable transportation to get to/from various event and conference centers around Central Oregon, such as the Riverhouse on the Deschutes Convention Center, the Deschutes County Convention Center, COCC, and venues in downtown Bend or Redmond in a timely manner.
