Apartment Maintenance Technician Job Description We are searching for a reliable apartment maintenance technician to oversee the day-to-day running of our apartment building. The apartment maintenance technician's responsibilities include cleaning communal areas, painting, electrical repairs, and HVAC diagnosis, among other duties as needed. To be successful as an apartment maintenance technician, you should demonstrate an organized, thorough approach to your duties. Ultimately, an outstanding apartment maintenance technician will remain abreast of technological advances that could facilitate their functions in this role. Apartment Maintenance Technician Responsibilities: Oiling door knobs, locks, hinges, and gates, as required. Repairing and unclogging toilets, sinks, bathtubs, showers, and exterior drains. Installing new faucets, shower heads Removing carpets. Outside lawn and snow duties. Installing and repairing wires, plugs, and switches. Painting apartments and communal areas. Disposing of trash found in communal areas. Tracking inventory to ensure that you have adequate maintenance supplies. Unlocking apartments in instances where tenants have lost or forgotten their keys. Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Salary: $22.00 - $30.00 per hour Benefits: Flexible schedule, Paid time off Schedule: Full or Part Time 4 hour shift 8 hour shift Monday to Friday Supplemental pay types: Bonus pay Waconia, MN: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required) Experience: Maintenance: 1 year (Preferred) License/Certification: Driver's License (Required)
