WE ARE A COVER BAND SEEKING A BASS PLAYER (MALE OF FEMALE). We are looking for a bassist with a solid performance history and that has a professional, even-keel, open-minded, positive attitude towards rehearsing and sharing ideas with band members. Singing background vocals is a plus but not necessarily a requirement. Our “cover band style” is eclectic; we gravitate towards Classic rock, New Wave, Funk, and Dance/Pop jams. At your request, we can send you a typical set list to see if this works with you. We practice 3 hours on a Sunday afternoon, but we’re flexible too. We rehearse in Chula Vista. Just bring your equipment and a good working attitude. We generally report on time for rehearsal. No drugs or alcohol. We can play out 3-4 times (or more) a month throughout various venues in San Diego. Thursday to Sunday is our open nights. Payment is evenly split. This can be a full-time or part-time position. We can work out commitment details later. All of us have or once had profession jobs, yet we are committed to produced music to the best to our ability.
