HIRING FT CHILD CARE ASSISTANT for a FAMILY HOME DAY CARE COMPENSATION: Competitive / Previous Related Experience a Big Plus PAYDAY : Weekly every Friday FULL TIME: Hourly - 35-40 hrs / Week DAYS / HOURS : Mon to Fri, 8am-5pm Call or Text Ms. Len : Family Home Child Care Facility in La Mesa looking for a Child Care Assistant. Responsibilities: -Lead and assist with various daily activities while maintaining close observation of children to ensure a healthy and safe environment for everyone -Routine light cleaning activities and household chores such as carpet vacuuming, cleaning tables, disinfecting toys and supplies, organizing/maintaining day care room cleanliness including dedicated kids’ restroom, bottles and plates dishwashing -Assist in lunch and snacks preparations -Share duties in diaper changing as well as toilet training (mostly already potty trained) Qualifications: -Enthusiasm and passion in caring for children (mainly toddlers aged 18 months to 5 yrs. old, no infants) -Be 18 years of age or older -Fluent in English Highly Preferable: -CPR and First-Aid certified (unexpired) -Negative TB test within last year -Fingerprinted (Livescan) If this ad is still up, I’m currently still interviewing candidates but will be making a decision by end of the week or sooner.
