Helping Out the Elderly

My 4 year old and I would love to help the elderly or those that are shut-in. We would love to stop by once a week and deliver some small groceries, stop by with a flower and just say hello. I want my daughter to learn good social skills and befriending an elderly person for a once per week visit would be wonderful. We have tried volunteering at nursing homes and they won't allow it because of c19 precautions. Please let me know if you know an elderly person who would like a friendly visit from my daughter and I.
