So Biden's last 2 big speeches vilified the republican party. He first said they were fascists' and most recently said republicans are a threat to democracy. He goes on saying that republicans are the cause for Paul Pelosi being attacked with a hammer. The attacker is obviously suffering from mental problems. Who in their right mind breaks into a home wearing just their underwear. Didn't he just gas light violence in his last two speeches? After seeing a campaign ad from Illinois gubernatorial candidate state Senator Darren Bailey (R), Scott Lennox allegedly became upset. He engaged in an argument with friends and then decided to leave a heated voicemail for Bailey, in which he allegedly threatened the politician’s life and the lives of his family members. Lennox allegedly left the voicemail at Bailey’s campaign office on October 28. According to Chicago Sun-Times, he told the candidate to kill himself or warned he would do it. The enraged man spoke of what he would do. The disturbing details included skinning the senator alive and feeding his family members to him. Lennox also said he knew where Bailey lived and worked and where his children slept. The office alerted the Illinois State Police, which looked into the matter right away. Authorities took Lennox into custody, and Cook County Circuit Court Judge Susana Ortiz set his bail at $75,000, saying his actions “went above and beyond anything that is acceptable.” She also barred him from any contact with Bailey or his family and put him on electronic monitoring. Lennox faces felony charges for harassment and threatening a public official. Lets not forget the assignation attempt on (R) Justice Brett Kavanaugh. On June 8th, a lone individual was arrested for the attempted murder of US Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh in Montgomery County, Maryland (1). Suspect Nicholas John Roske, 26, of Simi Valley, California, reportedly traveled 2,600 miles from his West Coast home after discovering Kavanaugh’s address online. A Criminal Complaint against Roske was filed on June 8th, detailing his murder-suicide plot against Kavanaugh (2). According to the affidavit, Roske disclosed to investigators that he intended to assassinate Kavanaugh following the May 2nd leak of a draft opinion on the landmark 1973 Roe v. Wade ruling, which protects women’s rights to abortion in the United States (3). The draft (4), authored by Justice Samuel Alito in February, declares that the 1973 ruling was “egregiously wrong from the start” (pg. 6) and must be “overruled” (pg. 5). A final decision on the matter might be made by July, if not sooner (5).
