I have two male chinchillas born July 5, 2022 looking for a new home. They are very healthy and have been handled daily since birth. Being handled doesn’t mean they love being “held” but, they don’t bite and will freely jump on you if not restricted. I do pick them up carefully and examine them which they allow without much struggle. One will come up to you first thing in the cage and the other will hide and squeak at you, once they hear the treats though they both come out of hiding. When you pet them they usually get really excited and popcorn around for a few seconds, kind of like puppy zooms but bouncing like popcorn. I have too many animals so I would love to find them a good home. You will need a cage and accessories for them, if you are unsure what they need I am willing to help. No plastic items (you can cover a plastic base tray with fabric), no wire bottoms, must provide dust, and stick to a strict chinchilla diet. There is a rehoming fee.
