Purpose of Research:
To investigate the role of the brain in how people make decisions about uncertain outcomes, such as in lotteries.
Specific Requirements:
Must be at least 18 years old, must not be pregnant, and must not have metal in or on body that cannot be removed.
Research Procedures:
Subjects will make simple decisions that involve betting money on the uncertain outcomes of lotteries. They will do so while undergoing Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI).
Time Commitment:
1 online consent and pre-screening for about 10 mins and 1 or 2 visits for about 2 hours in total.

Payment:
Compensation is provided that ranges between $45 and $95 depending on your choices and chance (plus $25 extra if 2 visits are necessary).
