The Drunken Poets Band is seeking lead guitar to gig 2-4 times per month. Have gigs and residencies on the calendar through 2023. Currently playing as a four piece most of the time - acoustic guitars, fiddle, pedal steel and banjo. Have bass and drums when needed. We are a newer band comprised of experienced (some touring) musicians and are looking for someone with a good attitude and strong work ethic. We work hard but also have a lot of fun... We have pro quality PA systems and a sounds tech when needed. Currently playing covers of Whiskey Myers, Turnpike Troubadours, Tyler Childers, Cody Jinks, Hayes Carll, Steeldrivers/Chris Stapleton. Sturgill Simpson, and also some older country - Strait, Tritt, Merle, Skaggs, Yoakam, Mel McDaniel, and many others.
