Sure, the oil companies are greedy....all businesses are...That's their sole reason for existing...To make money... It'd be the height of naiveite to believe otherwise. The government can have a dramatic effect by simply NOT getting in the way. If we accept the "Drill, Baby Drill" mantra, then the supply will swell, as it did under Trump and the prices will drop. If we declare war on fossil fuel, as the current administration did, then significant increase of prices at the pump must be expected. This affects not only fuel prices, but the price of production and transportation of everything. "It ain't rocket science" Peace out.
