Dave Gutter is a singer, songwriter, composer, and performer from Portland Me. Gutter has been renowned as one of the most perceptive and enigmatic lyricists of his time and is best known for his work as frontman of indie rock groups Rustic Overtones, Armies & Paranoid Social Club. Dominic Lavoie is a songwriter, musician, and producer from Portland Maine Leading a wall of sound influenced by the past with a lyrical mindset to our paranoid present, psychedelic folk-rock artist Dominic Lavoie has created an aural and visual world from his home base in Portland, Maine - a makeshift studio dubbed “Shabbey Load”. Following 2018’s music film and EP, ‘Mariposa', Lavoie and his band worked with producer Steve Berlin (Los Lobos) to guide the full-length, Wave With A Broken Arm. Recorded in 2019 and released in fall of 2020, the eerily prescient content tackles technology, false idols and our new everyday (un)reality. Almost 5 years with the same band, they’ve collectively created an original live sound. A rhythm section that can go from 70’s loose to Radiohead-tight, a keyboardist who creates entire atmospheres, and slick dual guitar melodies all blending to create the perfect backdrop for his songwriting and voice.
