FAPA Pilot Job Fair 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM: For job-hunting pilots with a minimum of 250 hours or a Commercial Certificate, or within 3 months of earning Commercial Certificate. Location: Le Méridien Dania Beach at FLL, 1825 Griffin Road, Dania Beach, FL 33004, (954) 920-3500 Parking: $15 parking for event attendees and overnight guests Airport Shuttle: Complimentary, on-demand shuttle available 7am-10pm FAPA's monthly Pilot Job Fairs bring recruiters from vairous pilot employers together in one place to speak directly with job-hunting pilots. Come and get a better understanding of what each company is offering, how they're different, or what makes them the right choice for you; some companies will even interview you, right on the spot! Bring plenty of résumés, along with one for FAPA upon admission. All attendees must register. JetBlue Airways will be reviewing pilot résumés during this event. Qualified candidates with an unrestricted ATP as well as unrestricted authorization to work in the US will need to register separately to speak with JetBlue. Space is limited! Registration will be reserved for FAPA members through November 3rd. Non-members will be able to register starting November 4th via the FAPA website. From 12:30 PM - 1:30 PM, stick around for a FREE résumé workshop. We'll review some common guidelines and pitfalls to assist you in preparing the best possible document for your job-hunting endeavors. If you need additional help, remember that FAPA Pro Members receive a résumé review and critique included with their membership. If you have less than 250 hours and do not have a commercial certificate, please register for the FAPA Future Pilot Forum at 2:00 PM in the same location to learn about the pathways to a professional pilot career. Please note that registered attendees are prohibited from recruiting pilots or staff at FAPA Pilot Job Fairs; this includes handing out business cards, collecting résumés, distributing literature or wearing clothing that advertises for open positions. Individuals not adhering to these guidelines will be asked to leave the event.
