“Rube Goldberg’s Inventions.”Speaker: Gregg Philipson. This Zoom presentation explores the extraordinary life of Reuben L. Goldberg, who was a Pulitzer Prize winning political cartoonist, an iconic Jewish figure who was an artist, author, sculptor, and much more. Goldberg’s newspaper comic strips were loved by millions for decades. Gregg Philipson lectures nationally and internationally on Jewish-related subjects including the Holocaust, propaganda art and Jewish military history. His collection and archive is regularly exhibited at major museums, universities and U.S. military installations. Mr. Philipson was a featured speaker to the Jewish Secular Community in the past, and you can enjoy these fascinating presentations, plus others on the JSC YouTube Channel. Dr. Seuss Goes to War and Before Gregg Philipson discusses Arthur Syzk JSC will provide a catered dinner and beverages. Latkes will also be served. Dessert contributions are appreciated! Feel free to bring a menorah, candles and matches for your table.  YOU MUST RSVP BY DECEMBER 21 TO ATTEND THE DINNER. To be eco-responsible, please bring your own dish, silverware and wine glass. We will also continue to have disposable items available. JSC GUEST POLICY: We love having guests join us for our programs! Guests are welcome to join us for two complimentary events. After that, the fee is $35 per event.
