The 8th Annual Dr. Jane Case-Smith Memorial Run, Walk, Roll 5k honors the legacy of Dr. Jane Case-Smith, EdD, OTR/L, FAOTA. Dr. Case-Smith was affiliated with The Ohio State University Division of Occupational Therapy for 25 years including her time serving as the director of the Division of Occupational Therapy for 10 years before her passing in July 2014. Her remarkable knowledge and devotion to the pediatric world leaves her as one of the most prestigious educators, researchers, and leaders of occupational therapy at Ohio State and throughout the world. Her legacy goes on to support the appropriate care of children and adolescents during their most vulnerable period. The Dr. Jane Case-Smith Occupational Therapy Endowed Scholarship Fund that this event provides for was established in her memory to help provide scholarships to students in the Occupational Therapy program. UpdatesAlthough this year's t-shirt sale has closed, t-shirts from previous years will be available for purchase on race day!Donations and registration will be open until race day. Participants that register before November 4th will receive a race day bag as a thank you for participating!Race Day InformationWe recommend parking in the Ohio Stadium West Lot, Stadium Lot B, or Tuttle Garage. Check in, t-shirt distribution, and raffle ticket sales begin at 9:00am in the Northwest Plaza of the RPAC.
