Fulfillment Associate - eCommerce

We are a small online retailer looking for an associate to join our fulfillment team. Duties will include order fulfillment (pick/pack/ship), inventory control in the form of assisting the receiving department with incoming shipments, stocking new inventory, and preforming cycle counts on inventory. The ideal candidate will be reliable, motivated and able to work independently as well as with others. Our stock room is next to the other offices, is air-conditioned, comfortable, and is in an office setting than a 'traditional warehouse' (no forklifts, etc). Most packages we ship weigh under 2 lbs. We also don't time you or measure the amount of packages shipped out per hour. We don't operate like an Amazon warehouse. The position is part time, Monday - Thursday or Monday - Friday, approximately 8:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m, with the potential for expanded hours during peak seasons, such as holidays, or as needed. This position will start Monday 11/14 or after. Responsibilities: - Pick, pack and prepare shipments - Accurately pull products for orders - Generate shipping labels and monitor outgoing shipments - Count and inspect all incoming stock, reporting any discrepancies or damages - Rotate inventory - Complete regular inventories and stock checks - Maintain a neat and organized workspace - Assist supervisor with other duties Qualifications: - Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds - Must have good communication and interpersonal skills - Basic knowledge of inventory and shipping software - Computer proficiency and ability to learn new systems - Standing for extended periods of time Benefits: - PTO (paid time off) after 3 months - Starting salary - $16 per hour *Interviews will be conducted via Zoom, Skype, FaceTime or Google hangout Please email a copy of your resume and include a quick intro/summary stating why you would be a good fit for the position.
