The Winter Blues Jazz Fest is back for its 9th year!! 4 Days - 9 Events Event Overview: The four-day Winter Blues Jazz Fest is back for its 9th year!  It will take place January 13-16, 2023. This year we're changing it up starting on Fridayand going through Monday morning. Our Festival home this year will be The William and Mary Alumnae house. Our over-riding goal is to provide an enriching and entertaining weekend full of jazz and blues programs with options available to suit all tastes and budgets.    The Winter Blues Jazz Fest has a little something for everyone.  We will kick things off on Friday, January 13 at the William and Mary Alumnae House at 7pm. The amazing Kadencia will be our opening night entertainment, Virginia based Bomba, Plena and salsa band. Followed by one of our always sold out late night events.  Saturday brings us workshops, a taste of the Blues and an amazing Big Band performance by the MF Big Band. Once again we'll have one, maybe two late night events. ​​Sunday, January 15th, we have our amazing Sunday Brunch. This year we'll have one at the Williamsburg Winery featuring Liz Terrell and her band and a second one at Culture Cafe.  ​Our afternoon entertainment is still in the planning stages and that will be followed by the great Sam Rucker on Sunday evening. The festival this year will spill mover to Monday, Martin Luther King Day and we are working on a musical tribute to the legend.
