Guests attending the book tour will be the first to recive a personalized copy of her second book of the New Orleans Series, THE HOUSE ON PRYTANIA. The book picks up the story with a Garden District Italianate mansion that is filled with mysterious antiques and treasures, each with its own story. The tour includes an all-inclusive ticket featuring opportunities to meet Karen and see the places, architecture, and burial grounds of Crescent City’s storied past that inspired Karen’s latest series. Come listen the sounds of jazz, enjoy some Southern Louisiana favorites, and see the sites with Karen White. Are you ready to geaux? (Translation - Are you ready to go?) All-inclusive krewe ticket guests will receive a welcome jazz reception with music by a Tulane jazz ensemble and complimentary light bites and glass of wine, autographed; hardcover THE HOUSE ON PRYTANIA book; a tour of the Beauregard-Keyes Historic House & Gardens with a presentation from Karen ; tour of the St. Louis Cathedral with a beloved Louisiana icon (it’s a surprise!); Garden District Tour with Patricia (Tish) Casey who inspired a character of the series; a tour of St. Louis Cemetery No. 1, the oldest cemetery in New Orleans; and a haunted happy hour.
